Nigel Doughty RIP

Well, words can't describe the terrible recent events on & off the field but the tragic loss of Mr Doughty at such a young age is very, very sad. I know people had gripes against some his decisions but nothing can change the fact that whatever actions he took were genuinely in the interest of Nottingham Forest FC. I was lucky enough to meet him once and have a quick chat with him and he WAS a Forest fan and interested in what I had to say. He was very polite and was not a big 'I am', even when I did have a little moan about the team breaking up that lost in the play off semi-final at Sheff Utd! It all leaves things very uncertain for us all but hopefully things will turn out OK for the club.
All we can do is stick with the club, support the manager and players to get us out of the mire. We are where we are so lets have no negativity, no moaning which will only add more pressure on the players.
Thanks Mr Doughty for your backing of our club beyond the call of duty, our sympathies go out to all his family and lets hope for the best for the rest of the season.
